Tsukuba International School is design for grades 1-6. This program basically is designed for Tsukuba children to learn the English language and also help enhance cultural background. One of the requirements for TIS is that the students must have prior knowledge in the English language. Students will be taught by well trained Native speakers from different areas of the world. TIS has students from the following countries: Australia, Bangladesh, Belarus, Canada, China, Costa Rica, England, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Thailand, and the United States. In addition, all native speakers are qualified to teach in the elementary schools in their perspective countries.
